Ok. What was I doing? Oh, right.
Well, it’s been a moment, but I _think_ I was going to do some writing here. So. Get ready.
Hey Friends (and possibly enemies),
Geoff here.
Who?
You may remember me from “we worked together once” or “was on a podcast I liked” or “that guy who posted something funny / insightful / weird on LinkedIn“. Yep, that Geoff. That’s me. I had planned to start spending some time here talking about Security Leadership.
I got busy.
I’m still busy. But, I remembered I love writing. I love podcasting, too. I’ve certainly been able to do more of latter than the former. But, I’ve always found writing is where, because of my nuero-spicy brain, I get to take the time I need to fully form my voice. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a terrible writer. My grammar is poor and I really like to write like I speak. Which means, you get to read what it sounds like in my head.
I’m sorry.
Anyway, I like it. Some of you seem to like this, too.
So, here we go. Again. For sure this time.
I’m going to try to make the content at least once a week. Maybe more! (probably not)
I’ve been part of a few great startups and I had some amazing experiences. I still find my self spending a lot of time talking to startups, founders, and investors. I’ll probably do some writing about that. I’ll share my perspectives on the Security Startup Industry, including sharing some of the notes I’ve shared on LinkedIn about each of security startups I meet. I’m hoping to come back for regular updates on the ones that, for whatever reason, catch my eye.
I’ve also been working on and off on a “CISO Handbook”, so expect to see me dump some of that content here, as well.
If any of that sounds interesting, stick around. Maybe even tell a friend. If not, maybe let’s keep this between us. Cool?
That’s all for now.
